| The M6 is a state-of-the-art lighting console that functions as a highly advanced visual control surface. Designed to control everything from conventional and moving lights to the most advanced media server, the M6 has been designed for today’s demanding multimedia shows and tomorrow’s challenges. Based on the well-proven M-Series software platform, the M6 provides users the ultimate control surface for fast programming and extensive playback control all from one console. Incorporating the latest available technologies with an industrial multi-core processor, solid-state drives and custom-designed high-brightness touch screens, the M6 is capable of delivering up to 64 DMX universes directly from the console’s network ports without using costly external processors. Advanced features like a LiveBlender T-Bar, FastDial rotary encoders, Paired Playback buttons and BriteTouch display make the M6 Martin’s most advanced console design ever. It offers a total of 44 playbacks, including dual Main Go sections, 10 motorized faders and 12 additional faders, as well as a total of 17 encoders for parameter access. |

Fastest M-Series console yet Using an embedded quad-core i7 processor with 16 GB of RAM, the M6 not only boots very quickly but also performs seamlessly no matter what is thrown at it. All hardware uses the latest industrial system components, making the M6 extremely reliable and future proof. Modular construction Built on a rigid yet lightweight aluminum frame, the M6 is one of the lightest consoles in its category. Attention has been given to ergonomics and workflow, including a lower front to keep programming and operation at the most comfortable level. A modular design enhances flexibility and serviceability, allowing the user to adapt the console to his or her needs. BriteTouch and external screens The M6 is equipped with two custom-designed 15.6” multi-touch widescreens and allows for two additional monitors to be connected to its DisplayPort connectors. Programmer module The Programmer module uses a 3.5” touch display for all parameters and effects selection and is identical to previous M-Series systems. The newly designed Programmer module offers 4 FastTrack linear encoders for accurate and intuitive parameter control with LED feedback inside the track. An additional jog wheel, assigned to fixture intensity adjustments, also serves as a video timeline control. Twelve user keys can be assigned to any of the hundreds of pre-defined functions and the backlit trackball can be used as a cursor or for pan/tilt control. The Programmer module is also equipped with a Main Go section for direct access to a user-assigned master cuelist. Playback module The new Playback module offers 10 playbacks with high-quality motorized faders and 4 associated control keys with 5 PlayPairs. It provides easy organization of commonly used playback of alternating colors, positions or intensities. Digital displays are provided for all playbacks for fast identification while a dedicated 3-digit display identifies the current bank number, which can be changed using dedicated navigation buttons. Five User keys are available for favorite banks for fast access, as well as any desired function from the large library of customizable key features. The Playback module also sports an independent Main Go section for a dedicated master cuelist. Submaster module Positioned centrally is a 24 playback Submaster module with 12 fader / button pairs and 12 separate playback buttons with the same efficient layout as the popular M1 console. These sub-playbacks are assignable to any function from a fully-featured cuelist to simple intensity control. LiveBlender module The LiveBlender transition module is one of the most innovative features of the M6 and provides smooth control for media blending, live lighting controls and playback crossfades, as well as rate and time adjustments. It unites the growing number of visual elements in a show into a simple and intuitive interface. The split T-Bar provides excellent haptic feedback and is custom designed for smooth visual transitions while allowing two dedicated items to be adjusted separately or in unison. To ensure correct synchronization, the handles can lock together for the perfect crossfade of lighting and media elements. A dedicated touchscreen, additional encoders and 8 RGB buttons allow the LiveBlender module to become an integral part of complex visual systems. |
